WWE Raw Report For June 3rd, 2024: Damian Priest And Judgment Day Lay Waste To Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan Continues To Lust Over “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.

Liv Morgan (Women’s World Champion), “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, And Finn Balor Segment: We kicked off the show with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan making her way down to the ring. Morgan said that this past week for her has been fantastic. From winning the Women’s World Championship to sending Becky Lynch into early retirement, but to her, the greatest part of her week was kissing Dominik Mysterio. This lead to Mysterio coming down to the ring to a chorus of boos, it took him awhile to say what he had to say. Mysterio said that whatever game Morgan is playing, him and Rhea Ripley are not playing. Mysterio said that once Ripley gets back, she is going to kill Morgan. But Morgan said that while that may happen, Ripley is also going to kill Mysterio as well. Morgan said that she would make it all worth it however for Mysterio. Morgan then began pushing up on Dirty Dom, with intentions that many men would not be able to resist. This is when Finn Balor stepped in front of the both of them and gave Mysterio some reprieve. Balor said that the Judgment Day, nor Dominik Mysterio, want anything to do with Liv Morgan, and wanted her to leave the ring. Morgan said that while Balor wanted her to leave, Mysterio may not want her to leave. Morgan eventually did leave the ring, but not without stroking Mysterio’s hair one more time.

Sheamus Versus Ludwig Kaiser: This was match of the night. The story was that Kaiser attacked Sheamus’ knee before the match ever began, which was the focus of the contest. Kaiser came into this match with malicious motives and managed to carry them out during his fight with Sheamus. Even with all of the shots taken at his injured knee, Sheamus continued to battle until his legs gave out during a White Noise attempt. Kaiser rolled Sheamus up for the win, securing one of his most significant victories.

WINNER: LUDWIG KAISER

Finn Balor Versus Dragon Lee: This was a fun match. Dragon Lee got to show off some of his athleticism and get some heat on Balor. However, when it comes to the Judgment Day, their is always a strength in numbers. With Finn Balor in disarray, Carlito assisted his new friend secure the victory, only for The Monster Of All Monsters to emerge when Braun Strowman charged in, sending The Judgment Day in a hurry.

WINNER: FINN BALOR

Sami Zayn (Intercontinental Champion), Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa Segment: Our Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn made his way down to the ring. Zayn said that while it has been great since beating Gunther at Wrestlemania for the Intercontinental Championship, his entire title reign has been plagued by one man, Chad Gable. Zayn then said that he wanted Gable to come out to the ring right now so that they can settle this once and for all. Instead, the rest of Alpha Academy came out to send a written message to Zayn from Gable. This little letter included Gable wanting a title match at CATC, to which Zayn accepted. Shortly thereafter, Gable attacked Zayn from behind. Gable then wanted Otis to hit Zayn, which Otis refused. Gable, like in other weeks prior, started to berate Otis and slapped him. Then Gable talked down to the rest of the academy. This gave Zayn an opening to hit Gable, but instead he knocked Otis into Dupri and Tozawa. Otis was angry, and body slammed Zayn.

R-Truth And Miz (World Tag Team Champions) And Carlito Segment: This was pretty funny, thought I should include it in this weeks report. Truth was basically loving the time he was in the Judgment Day, and Miz said he was never in the group, and overall just a funny segment.

Bron Breakker Versus Ricochet: It was a difficult night to enter the ring with injured ribs, but Ricochet was prepared for a brawl with Bron Breakker, and that is exactly what he received. It appeared that Breakker was about to shatter Ricochet’s ribs, but a superkick counter resulted in a near-fall. However, it only delayed the inevitable, as the red brand’s most uncontrollable Superstar delivered a Frankensteiner and Spear combo to secure another victory. Breakker intended to cause even more damage to Ricochet, but the appearance of Ilja Dragunov diverted the commotion.

WINNER: BRON BREAKKER

Natalya Versus Kiana James: This was a decent debut for Kiana James. James was completely focused as she faced Natalya in her first match on Raw. Natalya proved to be an appropriate opponent for the former NXT superstar, but James delivered her 401k finish to win the match.

WINNER: KIANA JAMES

Braun Strowman Versus Carlito: Strowman squashed Carlito, finishing the match with a power slam. However, the pin triggered The Judgment Day, with a steel chair assault finally halting The Monster Among Men’s rampage. As The Judgment Day dealt with their most formidable foe, Liv Morgan took advantage of the anarchy to try to put the sexual pressure on “Dirty Dom” once more, bringing a whole new set of issues to the group.

WINNER: BRAUN STROWMAN

Bianca Belair And Jade Cargill (WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions) Versus Shayna Baszler And Zoey Stark For The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Belair and Cargill were prepared for anything during their first Raw appearance as champions, and they ended up defending their title. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair faced challengers Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler, with a K.O.D. from The EST appearing to secure victory. However, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre disrupted the proceedings as the match ended in disqualification, and all four challengers vented their frustrations on the champions.

WINNER: NO CONTEST

Jey Uso Segment: Uso talked about how this time last year he was involved in the Bloodline Civil War, and how this year he is going to win MITB, and finally capture a world championship in WWE.

Lyra Valkyria is attacked by IYO Sky: Valkyria was being interviewed and was asked about Becky Lynch, to which she said that once Becky is ready to come back, she will be ready to take her place at the top of the mountain. Out of nowhere, IYO Sky attacked Lyra.

New Day Versus Authors Of Pain: Karrion Kross wants to divide The New Day, but The Authors of Pain were the ones who caused the most damage on Raw. When Kross distracted Kofi Kingston, leaving Xavier Woods alone in the ring, Akam and Rezar sprung into action with an impressive display of power to defeat the former champions.

WINNER: AUTHORS OF PAIN

Damian Priest (World Heavyweight Champion) Versus Rey Mysterio: The World Heavyweight Champion would be responsible for the final order of business for Judgment Day. Damian Priest added an additional episode to his rivalry with Rey Mysterio by surviving Mysterio’s aerial assault and successfully kicking out of a 619 and frog splash combo. With a brawl raging outside the ring, Priest delivered South of Heaven for the victory, but one final issue remained. As Drew McIntyre eliminated  The Judgment Day, Priest was able to deliver a chokeslam, sending McIntyre crashing through the announce table as the night came to a close.

WINNER: DAMIAN PRIEST
