AEW DYNAMITE TITLE TUESDAY Report 8th October 2024

Darby: He talks about telling Tony Khan to hire Brody King, and how similar they are. He tells Brody to take his spot then slaps Brody then hits him with a rock and leaves Brody bloody.

Brody: He asks he happens when Darby dies on Everest and tells him he wants his spot. He attacks Darby and goes to choke him out.

Both men trade blows in the middle of the ring, Komander attempts a springboard moonsault but Hologram ducks underneath and does a springboard moonsault of his own, he gets him in a powerslam position but Komander reverses it into a reverse hurricanrana, Holograms stumbles back to his feet and does a reverse hurricanrana to Komander who then rolls to the apron, gamenguri, attempts springboard but Hologram catches him does a aeroplane spin into a blue thunder bomb, goes for the cover and gets the 1 2 3 and the win.

Winner: Hologram
After the match LFI attack Hologram and Komander with their new manager Jake Roberts watching on.

Daniel Garcia Segment
Garcia: He names himself one of the best pro wrestlers in the world and announces he’s staying with AEW. He wants to be the person the company is built around and puts the lockerroom on notice.

Saraya vs Nyla Rose vs Jamie Hayter vs Willow Nightingale
Mariah May on commentary

Earlier in the match a returning Penelope Ford hit Jamie Hayter with a chair and Hayter chased her to the back. Harley Cameron took out Nyla Rose pushing her off the top rope onto the apron and landing at ringside.

Saraya does the goodnight on Willow Nightingale in the ring but she kicks out. Harley Cameron gets in the ring and helps Saraya set up a table in the corner, Willow sends Cameron into Saraya then powerbombs her, Saraya rolls up Willow but gets a 2 count. Willow then gets Saraya in a fireman’s carry position and does a Death Valley driver through the table, she drags her out the debris of the table and pins her for the win.

Winner: Willow Nightingale
She will face Mariah May at Wrestledream for the Women’s World Championship

Cody Chhun drops Jay White with a ddt, covers but only gets a 1 count. He chops White in the corner attempts an Irish whip but White stops and dropkicks Chhun. He chops and strikes Chhun in the corner, whips him into the opposite corner and does a running elbow, uranage, picks him up hits bladerunner and gets the win.

Winner: Jay White
After the match Jay White calls out Hangman Page and says when he beats him, he’ll move onto gold. He challenges Hangman for Wrestledream.

 

Mercedes Mone w/ Kamille vs Emi Sakura
TBS Championship and NJPW Strong Women’s Championship Match

Emi Sakura does a splash onto Mercedes Mone and Kamille against the barricade, she rolls Mone back into the ring and picks her up and drops her with a inverted backbreacker, Mone rolls herself to the apron part of the ring and as Sakura pulls her back into the centre Mone pulls the apron cover in with her which distracts the referee for long enough for Kamille to interfere and help Mone get Sakura down and locks in the statement maker, she taps out. Mone retains the TBS and NJPW Strong Women’s Championship

Winner: Mercedes MoneAfter the match Mone and Kamille go to attack Sakura but Kris Statlander makes the save

Ospreay: He calls out Don Callis. He asks whether Callis sent Takeshita to attack him and Ricochet last week. He says he brought him the International Championship and thanks to Callis he could have brought him the world championship. He calls Callis scum and says they’re done.

Callis makes his way to the ring, Ospreay rejects a hug.

Callis: Tries to talk about Ospreay’s accomplishments last year but is cut off. He admits he sent Takeshita and that Ospreay cost him the world tag team championships two weeks ago. Callis slaps Ospreay.

Ospreay throws Callis across the ring, Takeshita comes to the aid of Callis and brawls with Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher tries to talk Ospreay down but Takeshita takes him out. Callis asks Fletcher to use the screwdriver on Ospreay and he doesn’t. The brawl continues, Takeshita is about to take out Ospreay with the International Championship but Ricochet makes the save.

Bryan Danielson runs at Claudia Castagnoli to do the bisiko knee but Castagnoli reverses doing a pop up uppercut, he covers Danielson but he kicks out, he tags in Pac who heads to the top rope and hits the black arrow on Danielson, covers him but again he kicks out, Marina Shafir distracts the referee as a frustrated Pac goes to the time keepers area and gets a hammer, as Pac sets up to use it Wheeler Yuta grabs the it out of his hand and this gives enough time for Danielson to recover and put Pac in the rebel lock, Pac taps out giving Danielson and Yuta the win.

Winners: Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta

After the match Danielson and Jon Moxley brawl into the back. While this is going on Castagnoli, Pac and Marina Shafir take out Yuta.
