Nick Aldis Kicks Off SmackDown
Nick Aldis addresses what happened to Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event and tells Kevin Owens he has to relinquish the winged eagle WWE Championship by the end of the night or face serious consequences.
Bianca Belair, Naomi and Bayley vs Nia Jax, Candice LeRae and Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany Stratton does a dive into Naomi on the outside of the ring, she then teases cashing in Money In The Bank but Candice LeRae stops her and throws the briefcase away. LeRae tags herself in and continues to argue with Stratton, Naomi then gets back in the ring and rolls LeRae up as Bayley and Bianca Belair pull Stratton off the apron, Naomi gets the 3 count off the roll up picking up the win for her team.
Winners: Bianca Belair, Naomi and Bayley
Braun Strowman vs Austin Theory w/Grayson Waller
Braun Strowman drops Austin Theory at ringside with a clothesline as Grayson Waller runs away from him. He dumps Theory in the ring then heads to the top rope, Waller gets up on the apron causing the distraction which Theory tries to take advantage of getting Strowman in a fireman’s carry position setting up for a town down but Strowman escapes, hits a running powerslam into the pin and gets the 1 2 3 for the win.
Winner: Braun Strowman
Chelsea Green w/Piper Niven Women’s United States Championship Celebration
Chelsea Green:
She states it’s her honour to bring pride and sexiness to the reign. She addresses Michin and has to words for her ‘good riddance’. Lastly she asks the fans not what can Chelsea Green do for them but what can they do for Chelsea Green.
Michin interrupts and takes out Piper Niven with a kendo stick, Chelsea Green avoids and retreats.
Street Profits w/B-Fab vs Los Garza w/Elektra Lopez
Berto and Angel go for a double team on Montez Ford but Angelo Dawkins pounces Angel out the way and Ford does a enziguri to Berto, Ford tags in Dawkins, they go for a double team but Elektra Lopez pulls Angel out the ring but B-Fab drops her with a boot to the face, Ford then does a suicide dive onto both Angel and Berto, he rolls Angel back in the ring, Dawkins tags in Ford, they hit the avalanche blockbuster, Ford makes the cover and gets the win.

Sami Zayn vs Carmelo Hayes
Carmelo Hayes goes to hit melo don’t miss but Sami Zayn clotheslines him in mid air, Hayes gets back to his feet in the corner and Zayn does multiple punches to him before hitting a exploder into the turnbuckles, he then goes for a heluva kick but Hayes rolls out the ring and goes up the ramp to leave, Braun Strowman comes out and grabs him to take him back but he escapes and runs away, back the ring The Bloodline appear and attack Sami Zayn causing the disqualification.
Winner: Sami Zayn by DQ
After the match The Bloodline continue their assault on Sami Zayn. On the ramp Braun Strowman brings back Carmelo Hayes but realises Zayn needs help, he drops Hayes and goes to make the save, he takes out Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa then faces off with Jacob Fatu but The Bloodline get the advantage and lay out Strowman and Zayn.
Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens Segment
Nick Aldis:
He requests Kevin Owens hands over the winged eagle WWE Championship.
Kevin Owens:
He believes handing the championship over is not the right thing as it’s his bargaining chip to get a rematch with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship where a referee can’t screw him out of a victory.
Nick Aldis:
He threatens Owens saying that’s it’s not a negotiation and if he doesn’t hand it over he will never step foot in a WWE ring again.
Cody Rhodes comes out but he tells him to go to the back for his own health.
Cody Rhodes:
He tells Aldis he not going to the back and he doesn’t want Owens to give him the winged eagle WWE Championship and to let Owens be a martyr. He states it’s his responsibility to take the championship back off Owens. He wants a match where a referee can’t stop what he’s going to do to him so he challenges him to a ladder match.
Nick Aldis makes it official for the Royal Rumble
Kevin Owens then pushes Nick Aldis into Cody Rhodes then stomps on Rhodes’ neck multiple times.
