Swerve Strickland and Ricochet Contract Signing
Ricochet:
He says he’s getting Nana’s suit upgraded and after Revolution he can finally start concentrating on the AEW World Championship.
Swerve:
He talks about Ricochet’s win over him as well as taking the embassy robe, stabbing him with scissors and he will end him. After this Sunday Ricochet will be known for two things how Swerve revitalized his career and his ring announcer wife.
They face off and as Swerve leaves Ricochet goes to attack him with scissor again but he blocks it and stabs Ricochet with scissors of his own.
Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe vs Murder Machines, Bryan Keith and Mark Davis
Archer drops Briscoe with a clothesline then goes and grabs a chair, Briscoe does a strike sending the chair into Archer’s face which sends him out of the ring, Briscoe then does a dive over the top rope onto Archer and Cage, back in the ring Keith goes a slam but Ospreay escapes and does the os-cutter followed by hitting a hidden blade into the cover and picks up the win for his team.
Winners: Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe
After the match Davis puts Ospreay in a sleeper hold, Archer and Cage take out Cassidy, Briscoe and Hobbs. Kyle Fletcher comes out and attacks Ospreay, Davis then stop him, he gets in the face of Davis and berates him then makes him hit Ospreay with a chair, Fletcher does a brainbuster onto a open chair and stands over him.
Adam Copeland vs Wheeler Yuta
Yuta has Copeland in the cattle mutilation submission, he escapes and drops Yuta with a facebuster then goes for a spear which Yuta avoids and goes for a clothesline which he misses then Copeland hits the spear into the cover, makes the pin and gets the 1 2 3 for the win.
Winner: Adam Copeland
After the match both guys shake hands and Copeland tells Yuta “that’s what respect feel like” then leaves.
Jon Moxley comes to the ring and gets in Yuta’s face about shaking hands with Copeland, he pushes him around and grabs his face, Yuta then pushes him away and leaves. Moxley follows him to the backstage area where he tells him to keep walking.
MJF and Hangman Adam Page Brawl
Earlier in the night MJF called out Hangman in the streets of Sacramento.
Later on Renee Paquette interviews MJF who’s still outside. Hangman shows up and chases MJF into the arena.
They brawl, MJF gets the upper hand with a lowblow and hits the heatseeker, he then takes out multiple security men then hits Hangman with the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
He then goes to set Hangman on fire, even more security and referees stop him and carry him away.
Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa vs Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne
Penelope sends Rosa into her corner, she tags in Bayne, they irish whip Rosa into the opposite corner, she avoids splashes from both with a back elbow to Penelope and boots to Bayne, she starts to fight them both off with chops, she stunners Bayne and then goes to scoop slam Penelope but she escapes pushes Rosa into the ropes who ducks a clothesline then gets dropped by Bayne after hitting a f5, she makes the pin and picks up the victory.
Winners: Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne
Max Caster Open Challenge
Max Caster vs Jay White
Caster tries to start his own chant, White hits the bladerunner, pins him 1 2 3 for the win.
Winner: Jay White
After the match Jay White says he will be at Revolution to see in the new AEW World Champion.
Renee Paquette Interviews Toni Storm and Mariah May
Mariah May immediately spits in Toni’s face.
Mariah:
She says Toni is nothing without, the Womens World Championship is nothing without her and at Revolution she will be the sickest bitch she’s ever seen. They will go back to where they first shared a ring at Revolution and have there Hollywood Ending.
Toni:
She says Mariah doesn’t deserve the dignity of death and sentences her to a life of mediocrity, people will wonder what ever happened to Mariah May and they’ll say she found out what happens when you try and kill god.
They face off
Ricochet and Kazuchika Okada vs Brody King and Swerve Strickland
Brody does a corner splash to Okada before going for the cannonball but Okada moves out of the way, he grabs his continental championship belt and sets up to hit Brody with it but Swerve stops him connecting with a house call, Brody takes them both out of the ring, Ricochet then hits Swerve with the championship behind the referee’s back, he makes the cover and gets the 3 count for the win.
Winners:Ricochet and Kazuchika Okada
