‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Will Ospreay Segment
Hangman:
He talks about how he’s grateful for how the fans have treated him recently compared to how they were before, he mentions the past two years and references his feud with Swerve. He looks down the camera and tells Swerve he won’t forgive him but he will put there past behind him. He talks about the Owens Hart Tournament and defeating Will Ospreay.
Will Ospreay comes out and they have a stare down.
Ospreay:
He says it’s nice to meet the Hangman, he mentions watching Hangman’s career and his rise to winning the AEW World title, he says Hangman smiled for the first time in a while. However, he has a problem with Hangman getting back to the World title. He says winning the Owen isn’t about Hangman’s redemption, it’s about his ascension.
The Don Callis Family appear on the ramp.
Callis:
He calls Ospreay stupid and insults Hangman.
Ospreay holds back Hangman, he challenges Callis to put two members of his family against him and Hangman. Callis accepts the offer for next week at Beach Break.
Stokely Hathaway w/FTR and Tony Schiavone Segment
FTR and Hathaway confront Tony at the announce table
Hathaway:
He questions Schiavone about if he has an issue with all of them and reminds him they apologised to him. He mentions some of the insults he said about them on commentary during Collision. He insults Schiavone.
Schiavone puts his hand over the mic and stands up, Hathaway pushes him back down, he immediately gets him and FTR get in his face to protect Hathaway.
FTR:
Cash tells Schiavone to relax then speaks to Daniel Garcia, he explains how he’s thought they were father figures to Garcia but he’s got what’s coming to him on Collision. Dax tells Schiavone to tell Nigel McGuinness they’ll see him tomorrow night.
Anna Jay vs Thunder Rosa vs Penelope Ford vs Toni Storm
Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match
So Megan Bayne comes out to help Penelope, Jay brawls with Bayne and Penelope but gets powerbombed by Bayne, Harley Cameron comes out and fights away Bayne with a led pipe, Penelope applies a Indian deathlock submission on Jay, Storm breaks it up, applies a TCO chicken wing submission to Penelope who taps out.
Winner: Toni Storm
Hurt Syndicate Segment
MVP:
He asks the question of who is going to try and hurt them, is there anyone who will take the tag titles from them
Top Flight interrupt
Top Flight:
Darius says he sees this as a great opportunity and they’ve been through injuries before and Top Flight will not die. Dante talks about being underdogs.
MJF attacks Top Flight from behind.
He gets in Lashley’s face and says he hurts people. Lashley says he’ll have an answer for him next week.
Rhino vs Nick Wayne w/The Patriarchy
Ring Of Honor Television Championship Match
Rhino builds momentum with strikes, clotheslines and a shoulder barge in the corner followed by a belly to back suplex, Sabin and Cage cause a distraction which does work as Rhino does a spinebuster into the cover but Wayne kicks out. He avoids a gore and hits killswitch on Rhino, makes the cover and gets the 1 2 3 for the win to retain the ROH Television Championship.
Winner: Nick Wayne
Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey vs Young Bucks and Ricochet
Matthew goes for a superkick to Swerve but he catches it and does a backbreaker, Briscoe drops him with a Death Valley driver then Bailey does a pk kick then a standing double knees moonsault, Briscoe goes up top and does a froggybow elbow drop, Swerve makes the cover but Nicolas breaks it up. Swerve goes to the top rope, Ricochet pulls him off, he knocks him off the apron, Briscoe dives onto Nicolas, Bailey does a moonsault onto Ricochet, Swerve goes for a springboard move but gets rolled up by Matthew, he gets the 3 count to steal the win.
Winners: Young Bucks and Ricochet
Jamie Hayter Interview with Renee Paquette
Hayter:
She says what Mone said last week is nonsense. She wants to know the real Mercedes and not the obnoxious woman we all see. She’s insulted to be compared to Mone.
Mone tries to attack Hayter from behind and they brawl into the arena. Mone stands tall.
Kevin Knight vs Kazuchika Okada
Continental Championship Eliminator Match
Knight goes up top, he goes for a frog splash but Okada gets his knees up, Knight avoids a dropkick attempt then runs into a boot followed by a uppercut, Knight drops Okada with a dropkick then doesn’t springboard but is met with a dropkick from Okada as he lands, Okada hits the rainmaker into the cover and picks up the victory.
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
After the match Okada goes to hit a rainmaker again on Knight but Mike Bailey makes the save.
Claudio Castagnoli vs Samoa Joe
Castagnoli nearly pushes Joe into the referee, he pokes Joe in the eye then drops him with a clothesline, he makes the cover but only gets a 2 count. Castagnoli sets up for a neutralizer but Joe back drops him, he lands on his feet and does a springboard European uppercut, he goes for the swing on Joe but he counters, drops Castagnoli into a sleeper hold and he taps out.
Winner: Samoa Joe
After the match The Deathriders come out to ringside, Powerhouse Hobbs comes to the aid of Joe and lays out Castagnoli.
