WWE RAW Report from 2nd December

CM Punk and Seth Rollins Segment

CM Punk:

He says he knows exactly where he’s going from now and it’s to main event Wrestlemania.

 

Seth Rollins interrupts

 

Seth Rollins:

He says he should have knocked Punk out the day he came back to WWE and there’s nothing stopping him from doing it now.

CM Punk:

He says he doesn’t think about Rollins at all and tells him to stay out of his business.

 

Rollins pushes down Punk, they start to brawl but Jey Uso and Sami Zayn split them up.

 

Seth Rollins:

He tells Punk to walk away and tells Jey to crawl back to Roman Reigns. He asks Zayn if Jey is family to Roman so what is he. He apologised for creating the tribal chief. Reigns hasn’t changed, Punk hasn’t changed, and Zayn is being really stupid.

Sami Zayn:

He says he didn’t want to team with Punk in Wargames, he wanted to team with Rollins but he said no. Rollins has to remember that he’s the one that created the monster Reigns has become when he placed a chair in Reigns’ back 10 years ago. He makes a challenge to Rollins for a match tonight.

Damage Ctrl vs Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez goes for a chingoma bomb on Iyo Sky but she reverses it into a hurricanrana into the corner which Rodriguez stops herself going into the turnbuckle, Sky tags in Kairi Sane, Rodriguez misses a shoulder block and goes into the post, axe kick from Sane followed by a missile dropkick from Sky then a inSane elbow into the cover but Liv Morgan breaks it up. Sky sends Morgan to the outside then does a suicide dive into her, in the ring Sane ducks a clothesline from Rodriguez, she does multiple strikes then two spinning back fists then bounces off the ropes but runs into a big boot from Rodriguez then hits a chingoma bomb into the pin and gets the 3 count getting the win for her team.

Winners: Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

After the match Liv and Raquel attack Damage Ctrl. Rhea Ripley comes out to make the save, she brawls with Raquel and Liv but she gets sent into the announce table face first then referees intervene.

Dakota Kai vs Katana Chance vs Shayna Baszler

Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match

Katana Chance goes for a hurricanrana on Shayna Baszler but she gets caught in a powerbomb position which she reverses into a roll up that Dakota Kai breaks up with a ddt. Running knee from Baszler to Kai into the cover but Kai kicks out. Baszler knees Chance off the apron then goes for a sleeper hold on Kai but she rolls her up into a pin but only gets a 2. Kai avoids a running knee and responds with a scorpion kick then goes for a kaio kick but Baszler catches her leg and rolls her back into a sleeper hold, she drops onto her back which gives Chance the opportunity to hit a 450 splash which connects with Baszler as Kai rolls out the way, Chance gets back to her feet but straight into a kaio kick from Kai into the cover and gets the 3 count for the win and advances in the women’s intercontinental championship tournament.

Winner: Dakota Kai

New Day Anniversary Celebration

Xavier Woods:

He says being successful in WWE for 10 years means so much for than they could’ve dreamed. Thanks for fans and he has nothing but love for all of them.

Kofi Kingston:

They couldn’t have done it without all the fans.

 

Big E interrupts

 

Big E:

He can’t thank everyone enough. Wishes he was here under different circumstances and seeing Woods and Kingston say the awful things to each other last week, all they had was each other and on the worst day of his life they were at the hospital next to him, what they built means something to a lot of people and until he’s cleared he will remind them who they are and be there manager.

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston:

They say Big E left them, multiple legends have returned from a broken neck. Kofi mentions how Big E didn’t have surgery and he could’ve been back a long time ago but he chose his new life, new girlfriend, new desk job over New Day. There philosophy was them before anyone else and Big E chose himself over the team. They tell him to go back to his desk and they’ll call if they need.

 

Kofi and Xavier reject Big E’s hug and he leaves.

Dominik Mysterio vs Gunther

Dominik Mysterio chops and strikes Gunther multiple times trying to regain some advantage but Gunther responds with a chop of his own followed by locking in a sleeper hold, Dominik runs into the corner trapping the referee between himself and the turnbuckle, he low blows Gunther then does a 619 to his mid section, dropkick to the back of Gunther who lands on the middle rope another 619 connects and a frog splash into the cover but Gunther kicks out. Both men get back to their feet, Dominik goes for a suplex but Gunther stops it and chops him, big boot drops him then a powerbomb into the stack pin and the 1 2 3 for the win.

Winner: Gunther

After the match Finn Balor takes out Gunther.

Pete Dunne vs R-Truth

Pete Dunne has the advantage with R-Truth on his knees, he grabs at Truth’s mouth and nose then boots him in the face, Dunne then gets distracted by the crowd chanting “Butch” towards him, this gives Truth enough time to recover, roll up Dunne and get the pinfall for the win before quickly rolling out the ring and up the ramp.

Winner: R-Truth

Seth Rollins vs Sami Zayn

Both men are on the outside, Seth Rollins sends Sami Zayn into the time keepers area, Rollins grabs Zayn but he shrugs him off and does a boot to the face followed by sending him into the post, Rollins rolls back into the ring, Zayn grabs a steel chair and threatens to hit Rollins with it while accusing him on attacking Jey Uso backstage before the match, Rollins manages to convince Zayn it wasn’t him, he throws the chair away and as Zayn turns around Rollins rolls him up in a small package pin and gets the 3 count for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

A returning Drew McIntyre in a hoodie takes out Sami Zayn with a claymore.
