AEW Dynamite Report from March 26th 2025

Blake Christian w/Lee Johnson vs Kenny Omega

Omega drops Christian with multiple snap dragon suplexs, he follows up with a scoopslam neckbreaker, he does the v-trigger then hits the one winged angel into the cover and gets the 1 2 3 for the win.

Winner: Kenny Omega

 

Kenny Omega, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey and Ricochet segment 

Omega:

He talks about his title defence at Dynasty.

‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey interrupts

Bailey:

He says Omega is an inspiration and admirers him but he will take the title at Dynasty.

Ricochet interrupts via the screen

Ricochet:

He says he’s at his wedding and he will become the new international champion.

Omega:

He insults Ricochet and compliments Speedball, he will continue his legacy and keep the title.

MJF and MVP Segment

MJF:

He insults the audience then talks about MVP’s offer and calls him out.

MVP makes his way to the ring

MJF:

He compliments MVP and he says he wants to be in the business of hurting people.

Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin interrupt

Lashley rips up the card and faces off with MJF.

 

MJF leaves. Big Bill and Bryan Keith come out

They challenge them for the World Tag Team Championships. MVP tells them to win a match then they can talk about a championship opportunity

Kyle Fletcher vs Brody King

Brody goes for a cannonball but Mark Davis pulls Fletcher out of the way as Don Callis distracts the referee, Fletcher places Brody on the top turnbuckle, he fights back with shots to the ribs and slap to the face then gets Fletcher in a fireman’s carry position, Davis gets up on the apron distracting the referee again so Fletcher can rake at the eyes to escape, he does a running kick to Brody then hits a brainbuster onto the turnbuckle, he makes the cover and gets the win.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

Mark Davis vs Powerhouse Hobbs

Hobbs backdrops Davis, he gets back up in the corner and Hobbs runs into a elbow, he powerslams Davis then does multiple clotheslines in the corner, they awkwardly fall then Davis does a enziguri then runs against the ropes but Hobbs hits a spinebuster into the cover and gets the 3 count for the win.

Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs

Tony Schiavone Interview Adam Copeland and FTR 

Harwood:

He apologises for leaving like he did last week and explains his actions. Now he wants to focus on the World Tag Team Championships

Copeland:

He challenges the Deathriders for the Trios Championships at Dynasty.

Wheeler: 

He explains his friendships with Dax and Copeland, he wants them all to be on the same page. He wants to go after the Trios Championships as Rated FTR.

Later on in the broadcast the match is confirmed for Dynasty

Swerve Strickland w/Prince Nana and Jon Moxley w/Deathriders Segment

Swerve calls out Jon Moxley

Moxley comes out alone.

Swerve:

He questions what happened to Moxley then insults him claiming he hides behind the Deathriders. He says Moxley doesn’t deserve to be champion.

Claudio Castagnoli appears behind Prince Nana at ringside

Moxley:

He questions who Swerve is really and says he has high hopes for him. He asks how for he’s willing to go after Dynasty.

Marina appears on the apron with a crowbar, Willow follows suit with a lead pipe

Swerve:

He says Moxley is facing off with someone smarter than him, he talks about the one ups his has over him and he’s the most dangerous man in AEW and he’ll win back the AEW World Championship.

Top Flight vs Alex Findley and Devo Knight

Knight runs at Dante in the corner who avoids a corner splash twice, does a step up enziguri then drops Knight with a crossbody, Darius chops Findley  in the corner, he reverses a Irish whip into the opposite corner but is taken down by Darius, Dante tags in, Darius superkicks Findley then they do a missile dropkick into German suplex combination, Dante hits a cross over frog splash into the cover and picks up the up the victory for his team.

Winners: Top Flight 

Mark Briscoe vs Konosuke Takeshita

Takeshita goes for an elbow strike but Briscoe ducks underneath and hits the jay driller, he makes the cover but Takeshita gets his foot on the rope to break the count. Briscoe places him on the top ropes and gets him in a reverse fireman’s carry position, he escapes and connects with two big elbow strikes before hitting the raging fire into the cover and getting the win.

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita 

Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford vs Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm

Storm gets a waist lock on Bayne but she escapes with a back elbow strike, she runs at Storm in the corner who trips her then does a hip attack, Storm responds to the crowd as Bayne gets back to her feet with the hip attack having no effect which leaves Storm perplexed upon realisation, Penelope then grabs Storm as Bayne goes for a boot but Storm avoids and Bayne kicks Penelope then she rolls up Bayne but only gets a 2 count. Storm does repeated shot to the back of Bayne then runs against the ropes but Bayne picks her up, hits fates descent into the cover and pins the women’s world champion for the win.

Winners: Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford
