Cody Rhodes (WWE Champion), Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Bloodline Segment: We opened the show with an all out brawl between the top faces of Smackdown in Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, And Kevin Owens combatting Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline. The brawl went for the first fifteen minutes of the show. Nick Aldis tried to get security involved, but they were taken out by Rhodes and his buds. NYPD Officers were then called down to the ring by Aldis to escort Rhodes, Orton, and Owens out of the arena. We would not see them again for the rest of the night.
Jade Cargill Versus Tiffany Stratton Versus Candice Larae In A Women’s MITB Qualifying Match: The match started off with Stratton and Larae ganging up on Cargill, which was a successful idea early on. Cargill eventually did fight back and clothesline both women. Cargill then gave Stratton a thunderous superkick, sending her out of the ring, and military pressed Larae on top of Stratton right after. Nia Jax, who appeared to help her friend in Stratton, enraged Bianca Belair, but Indi Hartwell showed up during the commotion and assaulted Cargill. However, Hartwell’s disruption was ineffective for Larae. She attempted a moonsault but failed, and Stratton demonstrated how to do it with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, securing her victory.

Sika Anoa’i Tribute: We payed tribute and remembered the great Sika Anoa’i, who passed away earlier this week on Tuesday. Anoa’i was one half, along with his brother Afa, of a legendary tag team known as the Wild Samoans. Anoa’i is also the father of WWE Superstar Roman Reigns.
Logan Paul (United States Champion) Versus LA Knight Versus Santos Escobar In A Men’s MITB Qualifying Match: LA Knight is on his way to Money in the Bank after defeating Logan Paul (United States Champion) and Santos Escobar, with an essential assist from New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson. The competition was intense as all three Superstars were moments away from qualifying, but all that altered when Paul asked Indiana Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton to bring him his trademark brass knuckles. Brunson would have none of it and stopped his fellow NBA star, giving Knight an opportunity to take out Paul for the win. LA Knight PINNED Logan Paul, remember that for the next couple of weeks or so.

Naomi Versus Blair Davenport Versus Indi Hartwell In A Women’s MITB Qualifying Match: Hartwell and Davenport double teamed Naomi for a bit early on, similar to the other women’s qualifier earlier. Hartwell and Davenport’s alliance was short-lived, but they took out Naomi briefly before turning against each other. Davenport appeared to be in an excellent spot, but Hartwell threw her into the steps, prompting Jade Cargill to appear and exact revenge on Hartwell who had cost her earlier in the evening. Naomi used her help to secure the victory and advance to the MITB Ladder Match.

Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony: We had Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Paul Heyman in the ring for a Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony. Sikoa went to each member of the Bloodline to acknowledge him as their Tribal Chief. When Sikoa got to Heyman, this is where everything changed. Heyman said that he acknowledged, that Solo Sikoa is NOT HIS TRIBAL CHIEF! This led to a monstrous pop from the audience, but Heyman’s fate was sealed. Sikoa Samoan Spiked the Wiseman. Jacob Fatu then splashed Heyman. The third move was a shield like triple powerbomb to Heyman through the announce table. Based on this, it is only a matter of time before Roman Reigns makes his triumphant return to Smackdown, to straighten out Sikoa and his new crew.
