During the segment Owens mentions how Cody’s knee is hurt and not 100%, Cody responds saying there’s nothing wrong with his knee and it’s completely fine. Cody asks if Owens is sabotaging the match. Owens asks in response why Cody didn’t take a knee during as entrance like he normally does. Cody didn’t answer. Owens talk about how his Univeral championship reign felt tainted because people said he didn’t deserve due to Triple H handing it to him and he still feels bitter about it. So if Cody is hurt Owens wants to know what’s going to happen “when” Owens wins the WWE Championship. Cody concentrates on the word ‘when’ stating again his knee is 100% and is ready for Owens at Bash In Berlin. He adds that though Owens is talking with confidence it’s really anger, anger about Cody returning, blazing a path through to the WWE championship and that the night after the biggest moment in Owens’ career facing Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 38 he had to share the spotlight with Cody. Cody goes on to ask Owens if they’ll still be friends after the match. Owens drops the microphone and whispers something in Cody’s ear before leaving the ring.

Both men are on the top rope with the exposed turnbuckle, Andrade sets up for a hurricanrana but Hayes reverses sliding between Andrades legs and pulling his feet out from under him resulting in Andrade going face first into the exposed turnbuckle. Hayes goes back to the top and hits nothing but net to win the match.

Michin kicks out at 2. Stratton pulls Michin in position for the prettiest moonsault ever but Bayley’s music hits which stops Stratton, Bayley runs down to the ring, she ducks a attempted hit with the briefcase and takes out Stratton to the outside and into the crowd. Back in the ring Michin reverses a corner splash into a schoolgirl roll up for a 2. Michin stays on the attack with kicks to the torso and head but Jax ducks a kick and Samoan drops Michin through a table set up in the corner of the ring.
